ENGINEERING
ENGINEERING SERVICES
Development and coordination of the own engineering process: from feasibility calculations, to basic and detailed engineering, to process checks and thermodynamic calculations up to technical assistance for field activities. This is the technical engineering capability of DB Service.
- Basic and detailed design for civil works and complex structures, plant engineering, installation of plants and equipment, instrumentation, automation, electrical power and control systems;
- Elaboration of complete design projects, with structural and process calculations, lay-out, single-line, 3D schematization. Issuance of
purchasing, operational, and operating specifications;
- Purchasing / supplier management;
- Expediting and supplier control service;
- Preparation of Use & Maintenance Manuals, training courses and production of technical documentation.
FEASIBILITY STUDIES
- Reports and studies for the execution of projects with analysis and evaluation of the social, economic, technical, environmental and
ecological factors associated with the investment;
- Preliminary evaluations of costs, execution times and use of personnel and resources necessary for the execution of the project.
CONSULTING SERVICES
- Consultancy services for the preparation, analysis and control of tender and/or supply specifications;
REVAMPING of PLANTS
- Detailed analysis of the current situation, basic and detailed design of applicable changes and updates;
- Cost/benefit assessments of the identified actions with particular emphasis on the associated impacts both related to plant downtime and the environment and safety of the machines;
- Issue of technical specifications, detailed design and execution of works.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY
- Assessment of the current situation with particular analysis of the main critical areas for energy consumption and loss of efficiency;
- Design of the changes to be made, always keeping in mind the cost/benefit parameter;
- Plant and environmental impact assessments of the proposed changes;
- Detailed design of the interventions with analysis, definition of the new components to be replaced and study of the activities for the implementation of the same modifications;
- Commissioning of the variations performed and calculation of the results on the basis of the energy efficiency achieved and the optimization of the processes.
